 Beneficiaries
The main users of Foundation's activities are three groups of beneficiaries:
- People who, as result of the informative action undertaken by the organization become interested in the problematic of a practical benefit of the huge possibilities offered by the internet, will discover talents and passions linked with the area of social innovation and will actively cooperate with the Foundation with the objective of disseminating education related to informatics in the local environment and promote the idea of social integration, as well as contribute to increase social participation in the public life;
- Youth from typical urban housing settlements, who frequently do not have any possibility of development of their interests and an interesting way of spending their free time. It seems that the presently proposed forms of activities for young people available in self-governmental and local schools meaningfully lost their attractiveness. The integration of this social groups among centers equipped with computers and access to internet, which will be used for educational and recreational purposes, gives chances for the creation of a potential alternative in the presence of present threats;
- Persons in difficult economic and life situations. Also for these persons internet can represent a source of non-substituted information and a tool for the liberation of their activity. The difficult work market circumstances require a different type of way to search for employment. Frequently, the only way is the vocational re-qualification and to achieve the skills to benefit from the possibility of part-time or limited in time jobs. For some people the only way out of the hopeless situation is to undertake economic activity. People who do not have the basic knowledge regarding the real needs on the work market, get lost in the large number of legislative matters and frequently, because of unawareness, are seeking for their place in the grey sphere. Many of them are subject to the circulating opinions, which are deepening the spirits of hopelessness and reducing the possibility of doing something for themselves and for others. Long term unemployment and lack of perspectives are leading frequently to exclusion of a large number of people to social margin. It is for these people that we want to give support and we believe that in many cases it is possible.
Additionally, we are acquainted with the idea of giving humanitarian support to people in disadvantaged life situations, as well as to animals and the natural environment, of which all of us constitute an integral part. In this context, social initiatives have long time and a meaningful tradition. In fact, in our case, all started exactly from this point. The idea of establishing the Foundation was born as a result of the awareness of the wide necessities in this area, as well as the awareness of the reduction of our possibilities as physical persons, both in the organizational and financial aspects.
